Artventure

Im actually really tired but I guess this is something worth blogging about-- or at least penning down in words so it stays etched in memory (a more reliable one in comparison to mine :|) Was initially thinking of putting up all the arty farty pictures we got today when i was reminded of art itself-- the long hours with Husna, de bra, Lynette the Baker, Lamma, Ms Yeo's group and all other stragglers who come into the art room ooing and ahhing at our work; and how it was all going to be over by friday.

One year of art has come and is about to go, and with it are the memories of the dear dusty room, the constant mess, the Imacs, the walls and more importantly, the relationships with the people around me during this time of constant struggle. While they might not have been an aspect of art that could be graded and marked, they were vital in preserving my, and i do believe all of our sanity. It was all for one, one for all-- even though we had slight hiccups along the way.

As this chapter comes to a close I want to say thank you, art friends, art teachers and art-- and i do love you all very, very much.

Okay now for something I have to talk about-- Deb and I were locked in today! We had to go pee and after relieving ourselves we trotted happily to the main gate only to find a group of students staring at us goggle-eyed from the other side of the gate, and the gate closed. We tried to climb out but Deb's pannies were peeping and it was really, really much too high :( in the end we got out by the usual way. Hallelujah for all-knowing Deb and her escape routes from the hellish looking post-9pm school!

Peekchas to be posted in one full art post :) And by the way this term was the first where i got a U for a H2 subject-- History. Disappointments aside, it was expected (due to my bad time management of subjects in Term 3) so I'm just going to work harder this last term, and more.

Marcus wrote this which I thought was not very sweet, but quite a thinker. Haha so much for encouragement. Goodnight!
